Tradie Team started with a simple idea: “Why are superheroes always fictional?” when some of the most important people in our communities are the ones building, fixing, wiring, repairing, and keeping everyday life running?
Children grow up surrounded by tradespeople every day, yet careers like plumbing, electrical work, bricklaying, decorating, and mechanics are rarely celebrated in children’s books, toys, or entertainment. We wanted to create something that changed that.
Tradie Team is a growing world of characters, stories, and products designed to make trades fun, positive, and inspiring for young children. Through colourful personalities, playful adventures, and real world problem solving, we aim to help children learn about teamwork, practical skills, confidence, and community from an early age.
At its heart, Tradie Team is about giving children relatable heroes. Heroes who help people. Heroes who solve problems. Heroes who work with their hands and make a difference every single day.
We are still at the beginning of the journey, but the vision is big. From books and toys to TV, educational partnerships, live experiences, and community projects, we want to build a brand that grows alongside children and shines a spotlight on the value of skilled trades in modern life.
More than anything, we hope Tradie Team helps children see that there are many different kinds of success, and that building, fixing, creating, and helping others are things worth being proud of.
Because real heroes do not always wear capes.
Sometimes they wear steel toe boots.
